Today I realized that evil does have a shadow and if you allow it to become your shadow you will reap exactly what you are exuding. The Truth is an identity and I found it so enlightening today as I sat with a new colleague and friend, Ruth, who has the same vision as I do in helping victims of domestic violence. The true purpose in my life is being laid out in front of me and I am so excited to embark on a journey that the Lord has laid out for me but more importantly I am able to use all my experiences to make changes and advocate for victims of domestic violence. I get "giddy" inside when I think about how it all falls into place. How it all makes sense. I have a choice today. Either I move on with my life and forget the past or I live in the past and let it taint my future and today. I have to live each day for itself and learn that real love is available to me again.
